- Charged phone with the PaddlePoint Web App and your PaddlePoint account.
- Water, sunscreen, towel and weather-ready clothing.
- Footwear you can walk in near the water.
- Know when you want to be back – and give yourself a buffer.

- Double-check your location, start time and gear – then go.
- Check weather and daylight one more time.
- Tell someone your plan if paddling solo.
- Call 911 first if there is immediate danger.
Four steps to your paddle day.
Start with the right station.
- The PaddlePoint Web App handles the rental — booking, pickup, return and close. You handle the paddle.
- Review final price, duration and station details before payment.
- Arrive about 15 minutes early to get ready.
Pick up at your booked time.
- Open the booking in the PaddlePoint Web App.
- Use Open pickup when your booked start time begins.
- Collect gear, close the assigned door and tap I have it.
Keep the water day simple.
- Your pace. Your route. Your morning on the water.
- Keep enough time and energy to return comfortably.
- Call 911 first if there is immediate danger.
Close the rental in the app.
- Paddle back, return your gear and close the rental in the app. Done.
- Put gear back, close the assigned door and tap Returned and closed.
- Tap End Session to close your rental.
